Hula hoop exercise with a weighted hula hoop has always been a part of my exercise regimen. Sometimes more than others over the years...but I've always loved how something and fun and easy as hula hoop exercise can tighten the tummy muscles. Weighted hula hoops (personally, I truly prefer NO WATER) are a great way to exercise.When I was 11 years old, I asked my grandfather to make me a new hula hoop...a little bit bigger because I was a growing girl and without balls in it (the only kind you could get at the time) so I could hula hoop and watch tv at the same time. A couple days later, he handed me my new hoop. I still use it to this day for hula hoop exericse. More often than not, it's my ONLY form of exercise.
Years later, the hula hoop exercise and hoop dance craze was beginning and lo and behold, weighted hula hoops and the hoop my grandfather made me years ago were made of the exact same materials. Selling custom hoops was almost a no brainer. What an honor to be able to bring joy to so many by selling weighted hula hoops that brought so much joy to me thanks to my grandfather.
