RETURN POLICY
As all hoops are custom made, all sales are final and shipping is non-refundable. Please be sure to read How to Select Your Hoop in the menu above to make sure you order what will work for you and please email us if you still have any questions. Often times, the return shipping is cost prohibitive to the customer to initiate a return. Those that have ordered the wrong size have often sucessfully sold their hoop on Craigslist to recover intial costs and then re-ordered the size they need. DAMAGE POLICY
Once in a blue moon (thank goodness!) hoops arrive damaged. The customer is responsible for filing the claim with the USPS. If your hoop arrives damaged, contact us immediately. We will provide you with the information needed to file your claim. If your hoop is returned to us as damaged by the USPS, we will notify you and get a new one going to you right away and will handle issues with the USPS. If we have delivery confirmation for your hoop, Your Hoop holds no responsibility for theft or damage. <top>
Selecting Your Hoop
Hoop type is usually based on the individual and their needs. Most people starting out like a light hoop (tubing is a bit flexible) or a heavy empty hoop (tubing is more rigid and can cause bruising on some). The extra weight helps it go around a bit easier for some folks.
If interested in hoop dance, light tubing is usually the way to go. Exercise…you can go with a light hoop which will force you to move faster, thereby tightening muscles as you hoop. OR you can go with a weighted hoop…a little more force to push it around…but you can’t go as fast. It’s really personal preference there. Read more in the Exercise Hoops section for our thoughts.
Loose rule of thumb for size is to measure from the floor to 1 or 2 inches above your belly button. Typically the larger the hoop, the slower the rotation. Many hoop dancers downsize a wee bit once they master the hoop. Many good hoopers we know prefer belly button height as long is there is still enough room for them to do tricks.

We accept credit card payments online or over the phone. We also accept Paypal. Checks are also accepted however, hoops ship upon receipt of payment.

We strive to ship hoops as quickly as possible. Hoops typically ship 3-7 business days following your order. Occasionally we do get so many orders from gyms or circus folks we have trouble keeping up but do everything in our power to crank them out ASAP without sacrificing quality! How To Care For and Use Your Hula Hoop
Use: Hula hooping on driveways, gravel, concrete and asphalt can damage the tape on your hoop. Carpet, grass and smooth flooring are much easier on your custom hoop. If hooping in tight areas, make sure you move any furniture, lamps, etc.
Are you ready to do more than just hula hoop around your waist? Get together with a few friends and help each other figure out new moves. Learning to hula hoop can be a daunting task for some and easy breezy for others. There are umpteen videos on youtube to get you started. Random Hoop Instruction Videos
Storage: It is best to store your hoop laying flat in a cool place. Hanging your hoop can cause it to get a bit out of shape. Sitting in your car or in the sun for prolonged periods of time can cause it to warp.
Reshaping: If your hoop has gotten out of shape, if you can, let it sit in the sun for awhile. At the very least, get it to room temperature. Once warm, push down on your hoop gently to reshape it. Be careful not to press down with your toes by standing on the hoop as you CAN crush it.
Cleaning: A slightly damp sponge or washcloth with a small amount of soap is the best way to get smudges off. Be careful not to use anything abrasive on decorative tapes. <top>
All custom hoops typically take 1-3 business days to build and ship. Singles ship for $14.99 and increase a bit for each additional hoop based on weight (tyipcally $18.99 for two). Express and International orders are $43.99 for typically every three hoops ordered. Once ready, hoops are shipped with insurance via USPS Priority Mail or Parcel Post based on where the hoop is being delivered. We rarely have damaged shipments but if your hoop arrives damaged, contact us immediately. We will provide you with the information needed to file your claim.
Not all but many zone 5-8 shipments must go Parcel Post.To determine if your order will ship via Priority Mail or Parcel Post, consult the zip code list below. If the first three digits of your zip code are listed as zones 1-4, your order will ship via Priority Mail and arrive in 2-3 days, zones 5-8 typically ship via Parcel Post and usually arrive within 4-10 days.

YOUR ACTUAL SHIPPING RATE WILL BE CALCULATED AND WE WILL CONTACT YOU FOR BALANCE IF THERE IS ONE.
